I have been thinking that perhaps I will start including some poetry on here, as well as bloggy ol' thoughts...  Who knows, maybe some ink from my poet's pen may spur a romance or touch a heart or twain...

I hope, if it does touch any, that they let me know...  *smiles* My first offering...

 
A Lover's Voice

Speak, Love, in your voice so low
Speak to me of joy unbound
Weep to me of sorrow's wretched pain
And the wonder it becomes
At a single word from You!

Tell me, my love, the stories that lie within your eyes
Of quests and of lusts, of trysts and small eternities.
Oh, speak my love, my only heart, and sing me
Far from this mundane  travesty of half-life
Into the world that is ours alone!
